The 75.6-metre superyacht Northern Star has been sold, it has been recently announced. Built by Lürssen in 2009, she features an exterior design from the drawing boards of Espen Øino, with a spacious interior from Pauline Nunns Associates.
Amongst her stand out features is an exceptional range and ice class hull, which allow her to explore a number of off-the-beaten-track destinations. Northern Star will now undergo an extensive refit which will last through the summer, and will ready for charter this winter in the Caribbean with Moran Yacht & Ship.
Sold in an in-house deal with Moran Yacht & Ship, this latest sale quickly follows that of the 85.1-metre Solandge in March for the Florida-based brokerage firm. With Northern Star’s asking price at the time of sale coming in at €83,000,000, these two deals alone represent a combined asking price of €238,000,000.
