The 90 metre superyacht Dubawi visits Saint Malo
The 90-metre Dubawi, owned by the ruling family of Dubai, was originally built as a small cruise ship in 1989. In 2007 the Dubai based shipyard Platinum Yachts started to convert Dubawi into a private luxury yacht. The conversion was completed in January 2009 and Dubawi made her public appearance at the Dubai International Boat Show, where I visited the yacht. She was seen earlier this summer leaving the Med, and cruising north up the Atlantic coast. She has been docked together with superyacht Smeralda, also owned by the same family, in the French city of Saint-Malo for a couple of days now.
