From the drawing board of Espen Oeino comes the new flybridge version of the innovative fast range of superyachts – Danish Yachts’ AeroCruiser. The AeroCruiser 38F III will have the classic hallmark of Danish Yachts’ superb finish, at the same time giving an open feel to the interior with the use of full height glass. This will provide more light to this spacious interior area and a seamless transition between inside and out.
Within the design, there is provision for a forward facing glass hatch, which doubles as a sun awning when fully open and allows an airy walk-through from stem to stern. Further technical eco developments will be incorporated into this new vessel, to provide fuel-efficient engines, water system and air-conditioning. A prospective owner can stipulate his choice in terms of speed versus fuel economy.
Currently finishing in the shipyard is the Espen Oeino 38 metre 50 knot superyacht, AeroCruiser 38 II, Project 116. She is now undergoing shore based systems testing and is due for launch for her initial sea trials off Skagen, very soon. Thrilling times for the specialist teams at the shipyard, watching their labours come together in this brilliant new concept, pioneering light and green technologies.
