The Australian-built superyacht Platinum in Sydney
The 38.3-metre motor yacht Platinum was built in Australia by Mackeddie Marine in 2008 to a design of Alan Muir Design together with Traditional Timber Interiors. The steel hulled motor yacht is built to Lloyds Class and MCA and has retained her original name since launch despite having changed hands in the past. Twin 480hp MTU diesel engines provide the yacht with a top speed of 13.5 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots. Here she is recently seen just outside Sydney at sunset.
