Italian superyacht builder Baglietto presented the new Baglietto MV13 at the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes last week. Though not a superyacht in terms of length, she still impressed the crowds in Cannes.
This new yacht’s architecture and design have been developed by Francesco Paszkowski Design in cooperation with Baglietto, as regards both her outer lines and her interiors - for the latter architect Margherita Casprini was also involved, while Baglietto’s design department took care of the yacht's bottom, onboard systems and propulsion.
The Baglietto 13MV draws inspiration from underwater assault vehicles and pays tribute to Baglietto’s traditional military ships, skilfully harmonising some of their stylistic features with several design solutions taken from the open yachts sector - from the grey colour, which highlights the main material used to build the yacht – aluminium - to the anchor lights, which remind of the aggressive look of military crafts, all the way to the awning poles.
