At 47.78 metres in length, she was one of the larger yachts in operation in the ‘70s and remains active till this day under Middle Eastern ownership. In 2003, the yacht was hit by a devastating fire which almost destroyed the entire vessel. She was rebuilt to her original state, however, and returned to service in 2007. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3412TA engines, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2552" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Um Hurair47.78m (156'9&quot;)">Um Harair</a> has a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,000 nm.

Suave and sophisticated but also welcoming and family-friendly, the colour palette in the main saloon and dining room, which take advantage of the full 9.6-metre beam, is based on aquamarine and ivory soft furnishings combined with warm wood veneers, natural leathers and full-height windows for exceptional light and panoramic views. The changes mean that Project Venus shares only the same technical and engineering specifications with her predecessors in the series. A noteworthy addition is the “shark tooth” motif, a design feature halfway along the side of the bridge deck that lends the yacht a powerful personality.
