The classic schooner Aschanti IV of Vegasack in Saint Tropez
The 34.80 metreAschanti IV of Vegasack was built in 1954 by the German Burmester yard in Bremen. She had a major refit in 1991-1994 at Lürssen. Comprehensive works were performed on her hull and rigging – now using american spruce – and installing up to date technology, amongst others electrical and hydraulic winches. The yacht was seen last month at the Voiles de Saint Tropez.
