The Vial family, owners of the French Couach yard since 2009, have sold the yard to the Nepteam company. Specialized in the design, manufacturing and marketing of yachts ranging from 20 to 50 metres, the Couach brand has become well known for building high quality yachts.
The Nepteam Company is owned by industrial investors, and intends to preserve and further develop the yard. The objective of Nepteam is to develop a research plan for building yachts using new materials and new propulsion techniques.
The Nepteam company is chaired by Christian Chevalier. Christian Chevalier is former president of Association for the Development of the Studies and Research in Aquitaine (ADERA).
