The Durabo 110 superyacht design back on the market

Erdevicki Superyacht Design, Inc. started construction of 110ft Durabo performance sailing ketch as all aluminium structure for a customer in Canada back in 2009 but the deepening financial crises halted the production, which is mothballed for now.

The client has agreed now that the design can be offered to other interested maxi yacht enthusiast and the Erdevicki Inc., has thrown a challenge to potential clients to save the design costs and build the boat.

The 110 ft Durabo is a performance cruising sailing yacht rigged either as sloop or state of the art self standing carbon fibre rigging schooner. The boat is designed to be built in aluminium with a carbon fibre mast(s).

The boat features a bulbous hydraulically lifting keel, dual rudders, outwardly sloping transom incorporating a 12’ 6” tender garage and doubling as a beech, dual carbon fibre rudders, bow and stern anchor pockets...etc.

The reversed bow sheer line combined with a smoothly sloped stern gives a unique Erdevicki signature character to the design.

The deck forward is clean with all hatches and equipment mounted flush on the deck. The deck house (wheel house) is a piece of art with well rounded almost all glass enclosure. There are two steering wheels on each side of the aft cockpit with separate trunk house style companionway entrance to the engine room located in between them.

There is a generous owner’s luxury suite aft taking the full width of the hull and five spacious double-guest cabins to the fore on the lower deck, together with a library and lower deck salon and an impressive galley. The main salon is in the deckhouse with 280ΒΊ panoramic view glass windows and a gallery-type open area to the aft with plenty of space for entertaining and leisure.
