Photo: Andrew BrownSpotted this week anchored off England’s south coast in Mevagissey bay is the 55-metre motor yacht Steel, built by Pendennis Shipyard in 2009. The yacht has returned to her hometown of Falmouth last year where she has spent the last few months undergoing minor engineering work and survey operations. The yacht has also had her unique olive green hull colour changed to a glossy deep shade of midnight blue, giving Steel an entirely new exterior look. The ice-class vessel is designed by Liebowitz & Pritchard Architecture and Yacht Design while Corlett & Partners developed the project’s naval architecture.
