In 2006 work started to convert a research vessel into private yacht by Platinum Yachts in the United Arab Emirates. Work on the project, code named Cosmos, stopped in 2009, and the yacht's faith at this moment is unknown to us.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/143229/image/large-22b4942db569dace6a8c9644d8058b18.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/143229">When I was in Dubai last week, on top of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, I spotted the yacht on the hard in an area known as Dubai Maritime City.
