The inaugural Nordhavn 96 arrives in Florida

Nordhavn has announced that the very first Nordhavn 96 superyacht arrived in port Everglades, Florida, yesterday, ready to be brought up to the brand’s commissioning facility in North Palm Beach for completion. She was transported from the South Coast factory in China.

Based upon the hull of the Nordhavn 86, the new vessel incorporates a cockpit extension of three metres, allowing for several increasingly capacious areas on board. She accommodates guests over three en-suite staterooms in addition to a full-beam owner’s suite. a crew of four are also accommodated for on board.

The luxurious interior is finished with fine hardwoods, beautiful moldings and raised panels combined with stone floors, granite countertops, the finest hardware, lighting and fixtures. She is powered by twin MTU engines, providing her with a cruising speed of 10 knots. At a speed of 9 knots, she has a range of 4,000 nm.
