The Board of Directors of&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5565" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="The Italian Sea Group (Company)">The Italian Sea Group</a> has approved a €14 million investment plan, which will be rolled out from later this month through to the end of 2022.The investment plan has been dubbed “TISG 4.1” as it couples onto the €40 million “TISG 4.0” that was outrolled earlier this year, and which is now two thirds of the way completed. This new investment will see an expansion of four shed units of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5565" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="The Italian Sea Group (Company)">The Italian Sea Group</a>’s original dock, which will be designed specifically to cater for vessels in the 100-140-metres category. The investment will also be directed toward a series of facilities and service plants. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/112639/image/large-71dd2b977d22350f5c9d5439c079055c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/112639">“I am satisfied with the punctual completion of this infrastructure. The last dock built in Italy dates back to 50 years ago and was, incidentally, built inside our very shipyard. Therefore, I am certain that this construction will bring benefits not only to our business, but will also be a driver for boosting the territory’s growth,” Giovanni Costantino, Founder and CEO of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5565" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="The Italian Sea Group (Company)">The Italian Sea Group</a>, commented.&nbsp;The new dock has a length of 147-metres, a width of 48-metres, a surface area of 6,500 square metres and a maximum capacity of five yachts between 60-70-metres. The shares issued to the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4064" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Inmarsat plc (Company)">Inmarsat</a> shareholders at the closing represent an aggregate of approximately 37.6 percent of the total shares of Viasat common stock on a fully diluted basis, with no Inmarsat shareholder receiving shares representing 10% or more. In connection with closing of the acquisition on May 30, 2023, Viasat drew down on approximately $1.35 billion of its committed financing package, including a $617 million secured term loan facility and a $733 million unsecured bridge loan. The lower financed amount reflects in part the reduction in the cash component of the purchase price.
