The latest AB 140 has been successfully launched by the FIPA Group shipyard in the port of Marina di Carrara. The use of advanced composites such as kevlar and carbon fiber, the application of structural bonding agents derived from aeronautics and the use of lightweight materials are just a few innovations introduced by AB Yachts.
Powered by 3 MTU engines producing 2600hp each coupled to 3 MJP waterjets, the vessel achieves a top speed of 46 knots. All systems aboard have been designed in compliance with RINA, and she has been designed and built for commercial use and is MCA compliant.
The new AB 140's interior design is bright and sophisticated, with no compromises as regards comfort aboard. Huge windows, combined with light oak wood, and white leather, create an airy interior.
