The J Class Endeavour was recently sold to a Portuguese family who will base the yacht in the port of Cascais, near Lisbon. She will spend the summers in the Mediterranean en the winters in the Caribbean. Endeavour is for charter through Edmiston Yachts.

The owner of the 78m Royal Denship Princess Mariana took delivery of his new tender recently. Not a normal tender, but a 35m day cruiser capable of 50 knots! The tender, Moon Goddess, was built by Danish Yacht in Skagen and is powered by twin MTU diesels with a total power of 14.800 HP.

According to the Sun a famous Hollywood couple ordered a 280ft yacht from an Italian shipyard called Privilege Yard SpA. Besides the 280ft yacht this shipyard has, according to the rumours, about 8 yachts under construction between 85 and 160m. With a couple who can’t afford this size of a yacht and an unknown shipyard this seems very unlikely.

In November 2006 the 67m Nobiskrug Triple Seven (777) was sold and she spend the winter at the Blohm & Voss shipyard. Last week she left the shipyard on her way to Gibraltar and from there to the Azores. Within the next days she will leave the Azores heading to the island of Porto Santo where she will pick up her guests.

Kingship launched it’s first 33m Magellan on 12 April 2007. The Peter Beeldsnijder designed Princess K will be completed during the next months before delivery to her owner in June. She will be at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.

Wednesday Codecasa launched their latest yacht, Ferdy, from the shipyard in Viareggio. Local rumours say that the 43m Ferdy is owned by the owner of a large Italian steel company.
