Monaco Classic Week: Golden age yachts return to Monaco

Some of the finest classic yachts afloat have gathered at the Yacht Club de Monaco for the return of the Monaco Classic Week, now in its 15th year. La Belle Classe, a title which was won by the John Alden schooner Puritan in 2019, sees period sailing and motor yachts, vintage dinghies and vintage motorboats dropping anchor in the harbour. At noon today visitors will be welcomed into the exhibition of 'Powerboat Meetings in the Albert I of Monaco Era – Yacht Club de Monaco's Collection Restored', around which this years event is themed. In additional the 15M class will be represented by Tuiga of 1909, The Lady Anne of 1912 and Mariska of 1908.Monaco Classic Week 2021In addition to the yachting events, the author and owner of the schooner Puritan will be presenting a book on the yacht's history on Friday evening at the Yacht Club de Monaco
