Canados tradition in today’s world. Designed by Carlo Galeazzi, the new Canados 100 is the first of the new flybridge range of the shipyard, with a size half-way between Canados 86 and 116. The purity of her lines makes the family feeling immediately recognisable, however several elements clearly show new design ideas in the range of Canados yachts above the 100-foot length.
Her colours, the windows design, the fold-down terraces, the stern platform, the exterior design and the spaciousness of the interior, together with the renowned qualities of safety, performances and quality, contribute to creating a Canados, which as has been demonstrated in the previous models, is destined to set a benchmark in the market of luxury motoryachts.
The design of the interior is customized to respect one of the mainstays of Canados tradition: building exclusive tailor-made yachts. Supported by the Shipyard’s Technical Department, the owner will follow the building of his Canados 100 step by step, from the early design stages to the final launch, expected by Summer 2012.
Canados’ traditional style is recognisable at first sight. The lines of Canados 100 evoke the shipyard’s traditional elements, thanks to the elegant shapes of the hull, as well as that dynamism which anticipates the excellent performances of all Canados yachts. But Canados 100 also shows something new, never to have be seen before onboard a Canados yacht. Sliding windows characterise the living area on the main deck, thus revisiting Canados tradition in a contemporary way. Fold-down terraces allow to eliminate any boundaries between interior and exterior.
A contemporary-looking series of squared and rectangular windows are inserted along the hull, thus providing the cabins on the lower deck with excellent views. A wise combination of contrasting colours – white for the hull and the superstructure, black for windows, roll-bar and optional hard-top - also contribute to enhance the elegant look of the yacht's exterior.
For the first time a Canados yacht features an exterior living area forward on the main deck, with a 4-metre sofa and a spacious sunbathing area, specifically designed in order to provide wider room and increased privacy outside.
The flybridge is extremely wide and essential in its design, featuring diagonally-oriented, rational modern furniture. The open-air area is completed by two living/dining areas, as well as a jacuzzi and a comfortable relaxation area aft. A particularly innovative aspect of this boat is the stern, which can be easily turned into a comfortable beach platform; a highly recognisable element of the yacht, although retaining its distinctive purity.
Canados 100 is built using with the infusion technique, which ensures a superior mechanical quality of the laminate by precisely controlling the percentage of reinforcing fibres, for a more homogenous, lighter hull with better performance and accurate finishing. This technique also provides better working conditions due to the lower stirene emissions.
Faithful to the tradition of the shipyard, Canados 100 features excellent performances. Equipped with two MTU engines of 2.600 hp, Canados 100's top speed can easily exceed 31 knots.
