The very first hull in Horizon Yacht’s new FD85 Fast Displacement Series is currently undergoing seatrials, as pictured in the following photographs. The 25.99 metre vessel was first revealed to the industry last July, and features exterior design by Dutch studio Cor D. Rover Design.

Horizon comments on her performance during her seatrials so far, stating: “During the first tests, the performance of the FD85 was completely convincing - the targeted 17 to 18 knots were easily reached with relatively small engines. The concept of a fast displacement hull is very successful.”

A total of ten guests are accommodated on board over five spacious cabins, including a full beam master suite on the main deck in addition to four en-suite VIP cabins on the lower deck. Amongst her stand out features is a 40 square metre aft deck featuring plenty of seating and lounging areas, as well as a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. An additional Jacuzzi is also found on the sundeck.

The new Horizon FD85 superyacht on sea trials

France-based builder <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/416" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocea (Company)">OCEA</a> has announced that the fourth hull in the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/416" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocea (Company)">OCEA</a> Commuter 108 yacht series is nearing completion. The hull of the 60-metre superyacht Feadship 713 has been spotted in transit from the Feadship De Vries Group <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5058" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Scheepswerf Slob (Company)">Scheepswerf Slob</a> facility in Papendrecht near Rotterdam.
