Yesterday saw the launch of the new Jongert Ithaka. Ithaka is the 5th Jongert 2700M, one of the most successful semi-custom designs ever. The 6th hull is currently under construction and is due for delivery during the summer.
The Doug Peterson designed Jongert 2700M Ithaka features some new and very interesting details. The whole aft deck and the two outside steering positions were re-designed and offer a lot more open space than the models before. There will also be two seating areas in front of the open deckhouse, which will have a sliding roof like on the 2900M Ameena. The general layout will be similar to the existing one Jongert 2700M's, while the interior will appear in a modern pear wood design.
