Latitude Yachts is a new shipyard based in Riga, Latvia and they have just commenced their first superyacht project, the Latitude 88 Double Deck. The company had purchased the aluminium hull from the French shipyard Yacht Industries last year and is now completing the yacht.
The luxury yacht will be built according to Bureau Veritas rules and the construction is supervised by the well known French catamaran designer and naval architect Jean-Jacques Coste.
The company has informed SuperYachtTimes.com that the yacht is due for completion in December 2011, however if an owner steps in at an early stage they will be able to customise the yacht and discuss an earlier delivery date.
Thanks to her double deck configuration, the 27 metre sailing yacht features an impressive interior volume with 4 spacious guest cabins for 8 guests. The large master cabin is located forward on the main deck and thanks to large forward facing windows it provides a great sea view.
