The Superyacht Show, organised by LYBRA (Large Yacht Brokers’ Association), has announced that its next three events are to be held in Barcelona’s OneOcean Port Vell. The next edition of the show is set to take place in the second week of May 2019. “This show is an ambitious project,” says Raphael Sauleau, President of LYBRA, “with its focus entirely on creating a unique visitor experience; displaying incredible superyachts in a world-class marina such as OneOcean Port Vell. The success of 2018 has led buyers to recognise the attractive opportunity The Superyacht Show offers and we’re very happy to announce we’ll be working again with OneOcean Port Vell, a marina which offers some of the best facilities and services in the region to cater for this kind of event."
In 2018 the show welcomed 22 superyachts, a number which is set to grow by an estimated 30% in 2019. The event will also host a range of luxury brands, which have previously included names such as Aston Martin, Bulgari, and Airbus.
OneOcean’s Port Vell, located in Barcelona, Spain, has been chosen to host the event due in part to its ability to handle superyachts up to 190-metres in length, it's some 150 moorings and 440-metres of dock space.
To make it easier for buyers to find their next superyacht, SuperYacht Times has created the largest and most up-to-date online marketplace with superyacht sale listings. Currently, there are 1,499 yachts listed for sale on SYT all of which can be viewed here.
