Rodriquez have presented their new megayacht Collezione 40 series, designed by Filippo Rossi Associati architects. With a 39.90m full-displacement aluminum hull, she is a sleek and elegant design, that will appeal to many.
This superyacht has a maximum speed of 17 knots. Her range, at an economical cruising speed of 13 knots, is an impressive 2.000 nautical miles. She is constructed in Aluminium, a material with which Rodriquez Cantieri Navali and their contractors have vast experience.
The new model has four decks, including a high volume full-beam main deck. The large owner’s cabin is located forward on the main deck, and features a large bathroom.
The main deck also features the salon, and a formal dining room, which are seperated by a beautiful large staircase. Guests are accommodated in four guest cabins located on the lower deck, each with their own bathrooms. There are 2 VIP cabins and 2 twin cabins for the guests.
Power comes from twin 2 Caterpillar C32 Acert diesel engines.
Experience in Aluminium construction
In their yards in Messina, Pietra Ligure and Rio De Janeiro, Rodriquez Cantieri Navali have been building aluminium vessels for many years. The first yachts with the Rodriquez Yacht logo originated from their experience in the aluminium field.
The first 38m aluminium yacht – the Custom 38 - was delivered in 2005; the second one – the Rodriquez 38 SW – in 2006. Currently Rodriquez is building 7 aluminium yachts: two 38m, one 40m and four 41m yachts.
