We met up with the Italian trio at Hot Lab yacht &amp; design to find out how the studio manages its time during this busy period, and get into detail about their design philosophy. Big things are undergoing at Royal Huisman and we deemed it an appropriate time to bring you the latest from the Dutch shipyard on what they are doing on the new build and refit fronts. Talking about big things, we asked some of the industry’s top designers about their views on the 200+ metre market and whether this is a reality that we will soon be facing in the world of superyacht construction.

The owner of Bina is another highlight in this issue, with the man behind the 43-metre charter yacht giving us insight into life onboard his family yacht. With the 110-metre Oceanco project Y714 under construction, Lobanov Design’s Igor Lobanov told us what he thinks the design business needs to take things to the next level, and also talked about his past and present projects.

On the brokerage front, it is newcomers at Superyacht Sales &amp; Charter that are featured in this issue, with the trio behind the company voicing their opinions on how things can change on the superyacht sales front for the better. Prime Megayachts is changing the way we think about semi-custom superyacht production and it is with Barin Cardenas and Lucas Silva that we met to find out exactly what options are being offered to clients with this exciting project.

It will also have four docks for yachts up to 200-metres in length and three for those up to 155-metres.&nbsp;An additional 40 mooring points will be available and 25 refit spots on shore, which will be serviced by a lift capable of carrying 80-metre yachts.

The course aims to create real career opportunities for participants, such as naval carpentry, deck fitting, engine mechanics, the list goes on.The first edition of the three-month course officially launched in March, and will be held at the “Don Bosco” Professional Training Centre in Forlì. After this first stage in Forlì, the Scuola dei Mestieri will move to Mondolfo and Sarnico in September to involve more young people in the new project.
