I Dynasty and Al Lusail in Tarragona, Spain

Side by side yesterday in the Spanish commercial port of Tarragona were the two 100m+ superyachts I Dynasty and Al Lusail. Developed by Vega Yachts, the 101-metre I Dynasty (left) was delivered in 2015 by Kusch Yachts to a design by The A Group. Her interior modern-classic interior is the work of Studio Massari. On the right lies the new 123-metre Al Lusail which was recently delivered by Lürssen. The Qatari-flagged vessel features a radical exterior by H2 Yacht Design and an interior by fellow London studio, March &amp; White.

The cash portion of the purchase price was reduced from $850 million to $551 million after Inmarsat paid a $299 million special dividend to its shareholders in April 2022. The shares issued to the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4064" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Inmarsat plc (Company)">Inmarsat</a> shareholders at the closing represent an aggregate of approximately 37.6 percent of the total shares of Viasat common stock on a fully diluted basis, with no Inmarsat shareholder receiving shares representing 10% or more. In connection with closing of the acquisition on May 30, 2023, Viasat drew down on approximately $1.35 billion of its committed financing package, including a $617 million secured term loan facility and a $733 million unsecured bridge loan. The lower financed amount reflects in part the reduction in the cash component of the purchase price.

Palumbo SuperYachts has announced that they will expand the company's commitment to sustainability in yachting with more sustainable measures.

Turkey-based shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4644" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="AKYACHT (Company)">AKYACHT</a> has announced that they have signed a contract for a new 100 plus-metre superyacht.
