The yacht’s design brief was to enhance performance under sail without compromising the high standard of comfort and luxury on board. The righting moment was enhanced by fitting a deeper keel and a spade rudder. To further improve upwind performance, the keel contains a 1.6 m (5 ft) hydraulically operated dagger board. The racing capacities are maximised by the use of this dagger board and the streamlined hull shape designed by Dubois Naval Architects. She features full-length windows along her main deck that extend to her cockpit canopy to provide a sheltered area from the sun.“The design of the elongated sleek canopy shades the forward two-thirds of this area with an optional awning taking care of the remaining third,” explained Andy Lawrence, Director of Design at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1912" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Princess Yachts (Company)">Princess Yachts</a>.
