A new ultra-modern 120-metre superyacht concept, Project L, has been recently revealed by designer Thierry Gaugain and represented by broker Alex Banning from SuperYachtsMonaco. Having created the naval architecture to be a blend of characteristics from a classic sailing yacht and motor yacht, Gaugain has designed a smooth ovaliform exterior in one-way glass. Outside, guests can make use of the two swimming pools, extendable beach club, a helipad, drive-in tender garage and submarine escape pod.Photo: SuperYachts MonacoProject L will be powered by a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system for fuel-efficient long-range cruising. After two decades of working collaboratively with Philippe Starck on projects such as A, Wedge Too and Venus, Project L is the first solo concept by Gaugain.
