ThirtyC Design reveals 50m project Mako

British design studio ThirtyC Design has announced their latest project, a 50 metre motor yacht called Mako. The studio teamed up with Baldwin Harris, who created the interior, to design a yacht with a dramatic exterior utilising large areas of glass that has been blended with contemporary entertaining spaces and a relaxed interior.

A unique exterior feature, that also has a dramatic effect on the interior guest area, is the use of a full height glass panel forward, providing a floor to ceiling view from within the master cabin. This area can alternatively be designed to be the main dining room, moving the owners cabin to the deck above with an added private terrace facing aft.

The yacht will offer accommodation for ten guests, with four guest cabins on the lower deck, each with large windows providing excellent views and light into the cabin. The yacht will also feature a full beam beach club, complete with a lounge area, bar and changing facilities.

The sundeck also has the option of being altered in design to suite the clientโ€™s taste, with a sheltered bar area and separate day head, or as an enclosed gym, with day head and changing facilities. In both layouts, the forward area of the sun deck provides a large sun bathing area with Jacuzzi.
