Fraser Yachts is delighted to announce the arrival of Shaun Preacher, Sarah Gates and Melanie Clarke into the Yacht Management division, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Shaun Preacher was born into a seafaring family. Originally from England and raised in the United States, Shaun completed his studies in Marine Science and received his Business degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. Following the family tradition, Shaun has spent the last 22 years as captain in the luxury yachting industry. Traveling extensively throughout the world has given Shaun a unique insight into the complexities of yacht management. His acquired knowledge of the yachting industry had proven invaluable to his career. Shaun arrives at Fraser Yachts with an impressive background within the yachting industry. His experiences are assisting Shaun in helping the yacht management team at Fraser Yachts.
Raised in West Springfield, Massachusetts, Sarah Gates is no stranger to life on the water. From an early age she enjoyed activities such as fishing, boating and traveling outside of the United States with her family. While completing her studies in Marine Safety and Environmental Protection at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Sarah sailed aboard the TS Enterprise and TS Empire State visiting ports of call throughout the world. With her expertise in Emergency Management, Sarah began her career working as an Emergency Medical Technician in the medical field. During her spare time she likes spending time outdoors and continues to enjoy boating and fishing. Sarah joins Fraser Yachts eager to expand her knowledge of quality and safety in the yachting industry. Her background and education are great assets to the team.
Melanie Clarke grew up in a small town in Massachusetts. Along with her father, an avid sailor, she traveled around the world and spent most of her time along the water. In 1999 Melanie relocated to Fort Lauderdale. Over the next nine years, she worked for Holland America Cruise Line, supplying all of its fleet vessels around the world. In 2007 Melanie had the opportunity to make a four-month journey with her husband, a first mate, through Europe. Melanie brings her experience and enthusiasm for yachting to Fraser Yachts.
