Top yachts to see at Palm Beach International Boat Show

With The Palm Beach International Boat Show fast approaching, SYT takes a closer look at the top 20 yachts attending this year. Kicking off the top 20 list is Bold, the 85.3-metre superyacht explorer from Australian shipyard SilverYachts. Designed by Espen Øino International, the yacht is one of the most striking vessels in the global fleet with a warship style aesthetic, accentuated by her grey hull. She is able to accommodate as many as 12 guests and has two helipads. Plvs Vltra, the 74-metre Dutch built superyacht from Amels and Damen Yachting. The name translates to ‘farther beyond’ in Latin and emulates the owner's quest for perfection. The 2016 superyacht features an exterior designer by Tim Heywood Design and the interior stylings of Winch Design who have used the hues and notes of a luxury hotel throughout. Some of her key features include a large swimming pool, a beach club, and a spa equipped with a sauna and steam room. She can accommodate up to 12 guests who will be looked after by 23 crew. The 63-metre steel and aluminium superyacht 11.11 was built in 2015. She was built by Benetti who were responsible for her custom design, naval and exterior. She features an art-deco inspired interior design by Candy and Candy, with striking monochrome colours, polished stainless steel, bespoke chandeliers and flawless Italian marble. She features a carefully selected collection of contemporary artwork and photography onboard from Tracy Emin, Hans Kotter, Dominic Harris, David Yarrow and Ben Sack. 11.11 boasts not one, but two master suites with an owners deck and Jacuzzi as well as an office. The 53.03-metre Oceanfast motor yacht Mizu was delivered in 2004 and features a very distinct design. She was designed to explore all the world’s oceans in style and comfort and features a contemporary design by Sam Sorgiovanni to create a calm yet vibrant interior. The 498 GT superyacht has an impressive range of entertainment features including a Jacuzzi, basketball court and plenty of places for her ten guests to relax! The Australian built She’s a 10, measures in at 49.5-metres making her the fourth biggest yacht at the show. The Oceanfast built superyacht features the original designs of Jon Bannenberg and Phil Curran and has been meticulously maintained since her delivery in 1989. Her timeless and elegant interior spaces are able to sleep as many as 12 guests across five staterooms, including an upper deck master suite with an ensuite bathroom. Thunder is a 49.99-metre superyacht also from Oceanfast. The Australian built yacht is able to sleep as many as ten guests across five staterooms including two doubles and three twins. The owner’s stateroom takes up the full beam and is complemented by a whirlpool bathtub and steam room. Thunder features the exterior and interior stylings of Bannenberg & Rowell Design with her naval architecture penned by Phil Curran Design with long lines from bow to stern. The 498 GT, Rossinavi superyacht EIV measures up at 48.8-metre and has a slender silhouette enriched by continuous glass surfaces. The full-custom superyacht was delivered in November 2020 by the Italian shipyard Rossinavi and features interior and exterior design by Team for Design, Enrico Gobbi. She is able to accommodate ten guests across five staterooms, and features a mix of bright and natural with nuances of wood and fabrics, combined with materials such as onyx and leathers and details in bronzed brass metal. EIV is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 19 knots and has a range of 3,600 nautical miles while cruising at 10 knots.Endless Summer yacht cruising Endless Summer | Feadship | 1991 | 45.72-metre

Endless Summer is a custom-built 45.72-metre superyacht from Feadship. The 1991 Dutch built classic features the interior design of Sally MacMillian with her exterior design being the work of De Voogt Naval Architects. Endless Summer is able to accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms, as well as a crew of 12. This tri-deck yacht features spacious decks perfect for relaxing. She has a top speed of 14.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. Odyssea yacht anchoredOdyssea | Heesen | 2012 | 46.7-metre

The Dutch built superyacht Odyssea was built in 2012 and features an exterior design by Omega Architects, while her interior is designed by Bannenberg & Rowell Design. The 46.7-metre motor yacht is able to accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms as well as a crew of ten members, including the captain, in six cabins. The impressive 491 GT is part of the Heesen 4,700 series and is powered by twin MTU diesel engines that provide her with a top speed of 15.5 knots. The 46.7-metre superyacht Daybreak was delivered in 1997 from the Dutch shipyard Feadship. Daybreak is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks and features the interior styling of Larvor and the exterior designs of De Voogt Naval Architects and was last refitted in 2018. She is able to accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms and 469 GT of space. Ionian Princess is a 45.72-metre superyacht from Palmer Johnson Savannah. The 2005 delivered yacht featured a refit in 2019 with all new furnishings and entertaining areas. The Ionian Princess features exterior design by Setzer Design Group while her interior was penned by Donald Starkey Designs. She is able to accommodate up to 12 guests across six luxurious staterooms and has been used extensively as a charter yacht. She features an interior design by KCA International Interior Architects and is able to accommodate eight guests across four staterooms. The 44.2-metre Benetti superyacht Il’ Barbetta was built in 2009 and features the exterior interior stylings of Stefano Righini Design with her interior design penned by Bannenberg & Rowell Design. No Buoys is the oldest yacht on the list and was first delivered in 1985 from the German builder Abeking & Rasmussen. The 279 GT aluminium superyacht features an interior design by Orsini Design Associates while her exterior was penned by Tom Fexas Yacht Design Inc. She was recently refitted in 2019 and  is a perfect yacht for luxury charters. She offers guest accommodation for 12 guests across six staterooms as well as a crew of six onboard. No Buoys is powered by twin MTU engines that give her a top speed of 20.9 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.M4 yacht anchoredJust Sayin’ Trident | 1999 | 40.23-metre

The 40.23-metre superyacht Just Sayin’ was delivered by Trident from the United States in 1999. She is able to accommodate up to nine guests across four staterooms as well as a crew of seven across four cabins. The 383 GT yacht features exterior design by Carr Design, while her interior was penned by Dalton Designs Inc and VM Yacht Design. She features a spacious and well-appointed layout and was refitted in 2021. Built by the Italian Palumbo Shipyard in 2015, the all-aluminium superyacht Leudin I features naval architecture and exterior design by Hydro Tec, with Hot Lab undertaking her interiors. Leudin I  is able to accommodate up to eight guests onboard across four staterooms as well as a crew of five. The 395 GT yacht was delivered from Italy in 2013 and has a cruising speed of 15 knots with a top speed of 22 knots.Kimberlie yachtKimberlie IAG Yachts | 2010 | 38.71-metres

The 38.71-metre Kimberlie was delivered in 2010 from China by IAG and is the 6th biggest yacht from the shipbuilder. Kimberlie is able to accommodate up to 12 guests onboard across six staterooms as well as a crew of eight including the captain. She features the interior styles of her shipbuilder IAG while her exterior was penned by YD&AS. She was recently refitted in 2019 with updates to her interior and skylounge. The tri-deck yacht features a Jacuzzi and barbecue onboard and ample dining areas. She is powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines that provide her with a top speed of 17 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 15 knots.Odin yacht cruising Odin Trinity | 2001 | 38.4-metre

Odin was delivered in 2001 from her American shipbuilder Trinity. The 38.4-metre yacht features an interior design by Claudette Bonville & Associates and exterior by Trinity Yacht LLC. She underwent an extensive refit in 2014, including the addition of all new carpets and artwork, with other refits and mechanical upgrades also taking place in 2015 and 2018. Emocean is the first yacht to come out of one of the newest shipyards in the industry, Rosetti Superyachts. The 2021 motor yacht features the exterior design of Hydro Tec and her profile is accentuated by the dark glazing of windows virtually from bow to stern. The interior was penned by Francesca Burdisso and Emiliano Capponi of BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Design. She features a glass walled wine store that is able to hold 150 bottles which are reflected in the mirrored ceiling overhead. Emocean is able to accommodate up to 12 guests as well as a crew of seven including the captain.Fugitive yacht in marina Fugitive | Northcoast | 2010 | 38.25-metre

The 38.25-metre Northcoast yacht Fugitive has an impressive 254 GT of space for her 11 guests to explore. The 2010 flybridge yacht features the interior stylings of Adriel Design, Inc while her exterior is penned by her shipbuilder Northcoast Yachts. The American built yacht also provides accommodation for a crew of six members including the captain. Fugitive’s twin Caterpillar engines are able to power her to a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots.Inspired yacht anchored Inspired Crescent Custom | 2000 | 37.64-metre

The Canadian built yacht was delivered in 2000 and features the exterior design of Jack Sarin Naval Architects. The tri-deck yacht is able to sleep as many as ten guests across five staterooms including a main deck, split-level master suite, a King VIP, double queen with a pullman and a convertible twin room.  The final yacht on our list of the top yachts to see at Palm Beach Boat Show is Temptation, launched in 2005 by Palmer Johnson Yachts. Designed by Nuvolari Lenard and with naval architecture by her builder, the yacht can accommodate as many as eight guests between four staterooms.
