For adventurous future yacht owners keen to cruise outside the well-trekked routes of the Mediterranean, an explorer yacht is the ideal vessel of choice. Developed with long-range, autonomous travel in mind, a true explorer yacht is capable of travelling to the most far-flung, remote areas of the world in style and luxury. Known for their work on the iconic explorer yacht, the former 77m Soviet icebreaker Legend, Dutch firm Diana Yacht Design has revealed its latest concept, the 60-metre motor yacht Beyond.Diana Yacht Design Project Beyond exterior design Photo: Diana Yacht Design A unique explorer yacht, Beyond was created with both ocean and sky exploration in mind. Her rugged exterior lines are paired with ample open decks and low bulwarks with glass railing to ensure guests can enjoy their surrounding views to the fullest extent. On board, she will offer everything needed for her guests to travel in comfort and style, including a cinema, spa, jacuzzi and observatory. Anyone who steps aboard of Beyond will see that the explorer’s spacious suites, open social areas and generous tender storage are perfect for exploring the oceans and beyond. Here we share with you some of this explorer’s yacht’s stand out features that make her one of a kind.

The concept offers explorers keen to explore the heavens as well as the seas the chance to gaze at the skies via the dedicated observatory. Located on the sun deck, the observatory, complete with rotating dome, is accessible via stairs on the owner’s deck and features a unique gyro-stabilised telescope. This way, guests can peacefully gaze up at the night skies no matter how rocky the waters may be.

Dive store with submersibleProject Beyond - submersible Photo: Diana Yacht Design  After exploring the skies, guests can also access the dive store to enjoy all the wonders of the open seas. Located on the cabin deck next to the spa and wellness centre, the dive store has space to store any diving equipment needed and features a platform for easy waterfront access. In addition, Beyond is complemented by a three-person submersible, perfect for ocean exploration in deep or cold water environments.

Located on the main deck, the tender garage has more than enough space for the submersible and toys. It can easily be configured to suit all your explorer needs and can store snowmobiles, extra dinghies and skies. The tender garage can also be opened up to increase the outdoor deck space.
The certified helicopter deck on the bridge deck aft ensure guests travelling on Beyond have total freedom in arriving and leaving the explorer yacht, no matter where they may be in the world.
