Joint central agents International Yacht Collection and Burgess have announced the sale of the 49 metre Trinity superyacht Blind Date. She was sold with Merle Wood & Associates representing the buyer. Built in 2009 by Trinity Yachts, Blind Date features an interior by Patrick Knowles Design.
Winner of the Judges' Special Commendation at the 2010 World Superyacht Awards for her innovative layout and build quality, Blind Date is one of the newest Trinity 161s. Designed to maximise outdoor enjoyment, the yacht features a spectacular sundeck with a centrally-located jacuzzi surrounded by enormous sunpads. Numerous other seating, lounging and dining areas are spread across her spacious decks.
Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests in five cabins. A stunning forward-facing, split-level owner’s suite on the main deck is an entirely private area and contains a private lounge with panoramic views, his and her bathrooms and excellent storage facilities. Elegantly appointed guest accommodation is housed on the lower deck in three double cabins (one with pullman), and one twin cabin (with pullman), which can be converted to a double.
Powered by twin Caterpillar engines she has a cruising speed of 17.5 knots and can reach a top speed of 19 knots.
