Istanbul-based shipyard Numarine has announced the launch of three more of its 26XP expedition yachts in one day, bringing the total number of 26XP superyachts on the water to eight units.
Photo: Kerem SanlimanTwo of the newly launched 26XP yachts are displacement versions of the model featuring a bulbous bow for maximum stability and increased range. This displacement version of the vessel has a maximum speed of 13.5 knots and a cruising speed of 9 knots, with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles at 8 knots, and is also available with a semi-planing hull. 
Photo: Kerem SanlimanThe third 26XP superyacht to be launched features a planing hull and is equipped with 1200hp MAN engines: the first in the XP series to have this particular configuration. 
Photo: Kerem SanlimanThe XP Series of yachts are characterised by a vertical bow, angular windows and enhanced expedition capabilities. Designed by Can Yalman and with naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini, the interior of the 26XP features four staterooms to accommodate a total of eight guests, comprising two VIPs, a twin cabin and owner’s suite with a private study, lounge and ensuite. A crew of three is also housed on board across two cabins.

In addition, the yard also revealed that three more 26XP superyachts have been sold and are expected to launch in 2020 and 2021.
