The Turkish shipyard Turquoise Yachts and Harrison Eidsgaard have unveiled their latest design, the 84-metre superyacht, Project Atlas. SuperYacht Times have been given an exclusive first look at this exciting new design, with the project unveiled in SYT 3D, our virtual yachting world, at 5pm today. SYT 3D team have worked closely with the team at Turquoise Yachts and the designer Harrison Eidsgaard over the past weeks to bring this design into full three dimensional form. Project Atlas’ exterior and interior was designed by Harrison Eidsgaard, who received a brief from Turquoise Yachts, which included requests for ‘multi unique lifestyle features and a progressive but timeless exterior, based on the yards 84-metre platform, with a central lift shaft and deck tender garage forward’. Turquoise themselves have designed her naval architecture. It is the aim of her design to create fluidity between the private owners areas, and the additional guest and crew areas, with multiple tiered decks and separate lounges on every level. Her beach club and swim platform are tiered, with a central pool and lounge area to port and starboard. From here guests walk up a short set of stairs, on both sides, leading to a raised seating area, with a central semi-al fresco dining area to the fore. Her beach club can also expand to 75 square-metres when hydraulic platforms on both sides are lowered. Fore of her pool, steps lower guests into a lounge area, with day beds and a large glass shower. A projection screen can be found at the aft, transforming the beach club into a cinema. Internally, Project Atlas features floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, which flood the interior spaces with light.

Her exterior lines are accentuated by the ‘snake-fang’ forward mullions and lines which curve from fore to aft, giving the impression that the yacht has forward momentum, even when anchored. To get a closer look at Harrison Eidsgaard and Turquoise’s latest design, Project Atlas, and the rest of the SYT 3D fleet visit SYT 3D.
