With construction on Turquoise Yachts now underway, the Turkish yacht builder has shared more details about this exciting new project that is expected to take to the water in 2019.

Based on the same platform as the shipyard’s successful 70-metre platform, Barracuda is yet another creation in collaboration with British studio H2 Yacht Design.

Interior spaces are the work of designer Ken Freivokh who designed each area to be practical and as spacious as possible. The clean conception by H2 Yacht Design is carried through indoors and the large window surfaces inspired an elegant interior ready to be lived in.

A unique feature has to be the triple height atrium amidships that is the source of much of the natural light that flows throughout the interior.

In Zero Mode or also known as Silent Mode, M80 would operate fully on electric propulsion, delivering vibration-free navigation with zero local emissions for up to eight hours, which would enable access to environmentally protected areas.In Eco-Hybrid Mode, diesel generators operate at optimal efficiency while electric motors provide propulsion, reducing fuel consumption by an estimated 25 to 30 percent.
