Two 44Alloy Sanlorenzo superyachts sold

Sanlorenzo Superyacht has announced the sale of two new 44Alloy models today. Sanlorenzo 44Alloy aluminum The new 44Alloy model is a 44-metre superyacht in aluminium with a fast displacement hull and is a collaboration between the shipyard and the Italian studio, Zuccon International Project, who the shipyard previously worked with on their planing-hull line of yachts. The 44-metre superyacht maintains the classic Sanzlorenzo lines in its design.

I love to see the birth of a new model , said Massimo Perotti  Chairman and CEO of Sanlorenzo, "to pore over drawings with my colleagues, discuss every single detail, improve and improve again until we finally see the real project and finalize it with the owner, who places his dream in our hands. The most satisfying part is to see later in the water exactly what we had in mind”.

The Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Sanlorenzo Superyacht, Antonio Santella, spoke to SYT and told us that the defining feature that makes the 44Alloy project unique is its layout.

“Other shipyards are perhaps more conservative in this regard,” he said, “Our philosophy, is to innovate and propose new solutions as we already did in all our previous yacht projects: folding terraces on the 40Alloy, open aft deck on the 46Steel and floating garage on the 52Steel." He continued,“Here you have a type of a mezzanine set up in the owner’s cabin,” he said, pointing at the forward part of the main deck structure. “It is the first time a double-level owner’s cabin has been introduced in a yacht of this size. The space upstairs can also be closed off to be used as a gym for all guests.”

Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy ConceptIn addition, Santella told SYT that, as Sanlorenzo understands that not each client is the same, the layout of the 44Alloy superyachts is both flexible and adjustable to each client's needs. “Another option lets you use the upper level of the cabin as the wheelhouse (main deck) and the upper deck will then become a big owner’s deck. The bottom half can then be used as a dining area or a cinema room - whatever you want. Up to now, I have met with six clients and the interest in each different layout is divided.”

The two 44Alloy vessels are already under construction at the new Sanlorenzo Superyacht shipyard, which is based in La Spezia, and will be delivered to their owners in the spring of 2020.
