The Turkish shipyard Bilgin Yachts have just released a glimpse of the two 80.1-metre Bilgin 263 superyachts currently in-build at their shipyard. The yachts are twin sisterships to the 80-metre superyacht Tatiana, launched at the shipyard in 2020. Photo: Bilgin YachtsThe Bilgin 263 series has been designed in collaboration with Antalya-based studio Unique Yacht Design, who completed the naval architecture and exterior design of the model. H2 Yacht Design have penned the interior living areas, which accommodate as many as 16 guests between eight generous staterooms.
The owner’s suite has its own deck, while there are three VIP staterooms on the lower deck and four staterooms on the main deck. The interior has been finished with leather accents, marble flooring in the bathrooms and wooden floors in the shared areas, with custom carpets for added comfort. He commented, “Tatiana has a contemporary layout with generous living rooms as well as a huge spa and beach club in the aft which are considered highlights of her design. We tried to bring a crisp and contemporary feel by using a rich palette of colours. Also, the exterior decks have a rich warm theme that completes this design approach. Overall, we are very proud to see a stunning interior that complements the modern lifestyle perfectly."Photo: Bilgin YachtsPhoto: Bilgin YachtsThough the interior architecture of each of the yachts is the same, the interior styling of the second vessel has been slightly customised for the owner, in terms of materials and colours. The third vessel will have a slightly adapted interior and exterior layout from her sisterships, including a 20% larger volume and the owner’s suite will be situated on the main deck rather than the bridgedeck.Photo: Bilgin YachtsLike Tatiana, these two superyachts are compliant to the IMO Tier III standard, and are made from a steel-aluminium superstructure. Emrecan Özgün, CEO and the Founder of Unique Yacht Design, described the 263 series, stating, "With her design and comfort elements, the Bilgin 263 is truly one-of-a-kind. We created a very attractive yacht with a sleek and sexy profile while avoiding a high dosage of design clichés. The increase in living areas normally results in bulky designs. The Bilgin 263 has a design attitude that will dominate the yachting sector around the world.”Photo: Bilgin YachtsThe yachts are powered by twin 2,560 kW engines and reach speeds up to 19.3 knots, with a cruising speed of 12 knots. They are set to be launched in 2022 and 2023 respectively.Photo: Bilgin Yachts
