Photo: JunglistSeen here together in Marina Port Vell in Barcelona are the two Dutch superyachts Volpini 2 and My Loyalty. Designed by Tim Heywood (exterior) and Reymond Langton (interior), the 57.7-metre motor yacht Volpini 2 is the first and only Amels 188 to have been delivered by the Dutch builder and marked the world’s first Tier III compliant new build yacht with Amels' own hybrid switchboard and waste heat recovery systems. With an interior volume of 970 GT, Volpini 2 can accommodate up to 12 guests and features an 80-square-metre master suite with a folding balcony in addition to six suites, including a VIP suite on the bridge deck.
To her port side lies My Loyalty, the 49.8-metre Heesen yacht from 2016. Designed by Omega Architects, the fifth yacht in the yard's successful 50-metre class shares a similar exterior styling with sisters Man of Steel, Como, and Rocket among others, with a ‘shark grey’ hull making her easily identifiable. 12 guests are accommodated in six staterooms in an interior designed by Cristiano Gatto.
