Two new 24m explorers ready for outfitting at Holland Jachtbouw

Written by Gemma Fottles

Two new explorer yachts currently under construction at Holland Jachtbouw are ready for outfitting, her designer Knud E. Hansen has today announced. Each measuring 24 metres and built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the vessels share the same design, with an exterior customised according to the ownerโ€™s preferences.

The explorers accommodate up to 12 guests on board, and are able to be operated by a minimal crew of just two. Each vessel includes a tender dock bay to allow their tenders to be launched quickly and efficiently.

The vessels have been ordered by Mr. Lars Thrane, chairman and founder of the Danish company Lars Thrane Communication Systems, and Mr. Per Blinkenberg-Thrane. Both yachts are expected to be delivered in early 2017. Knud E. Hanson has reported that the designs will be available for repeat construction.
