Two new superyacht projects at Tansu Yachts

Turkish superyacht builder Tansu Yachts recently signed a new build contract, and has also started work on a new speculation project. Tansu is doing all of the concept design, styling, interior design and construction for both projects inhouse, and appointed Diana Yacht Design again as the naval architects and engineers after the successful collaboration on the last launch 34 metre Only Now.

The first project, superyacht So'Mar is a unique 37 metre yacht, with a dedicated private upper deck for the owners, including a master stateroom aft. The whole deck is designed for the owners' personal use, including a very spacious aft deck, and dedicated lounging areas on both sides of the yacht.

Superyacht So'Mar is already under construction at Tansu ship yard with the keel laid, and hull construction ongoing.

The second contract signed by Tansu Yachts is for a 38 meters yacht of the Mothership series. Following the success of Bartender (Ex-Nomade), Tansu Yachts has extended the Mothership series, with models ranging from 30 metres, to 36.4 metres , 38 metres and 42 metres.

The 38 metre Cutlass is being built on speculation, meaning the yacht does not yet have an owner. Based on Nomade's platform with some modifications including an internal stairwell for easy access to upper deck, a re-designed Captain's Cabin and sky lounge for the upper deck, changes to the crew area, a larger cold room and laundry. This yacht is still for sale.
