The Palumbo yard in Italy has installed a fish eye camera inside the building shed, where the build of the Columbus Sport Hybrid 40m, designed by Hydro Tec Naval Architecture, is progressing apace.
The all-aluminium yacht measures 40 metres in length, and offers three decks, that offer a high internal volume. Three guest cabins plus the owner's suite offer accommodation up to 8 guests.
The Hybrid system that will be used features two electric engines connected to the gear box. This allows to have electrical navigation for a maximum speed of 7.5 knots, getting power from generators, and to generate electrical energy while in cruising on the main engines. She is being built under RINA classification in compliance with MCA.
