Uniteam Yachting is a new yacht management company based in Cyprus. The company offers a full range of management services for superyachts which includes crewing, crew management, technical management, financial management, safety, security & quality, insurance and consultancy.
The company is headed by Jonathan Holloway, a master mariner, who previously worked as operations director with Blue Ocean Yacht Management. The company is backed by the infrastructure of a well established marine organization which has a worldwide network of offices; these include Germany, Singapore, Ukraine, Lithuania and Myanmar.
Uniteam Yachting is currently setting up yacht crew recruitment centres in Ukraine and Lithuania. Recruitment centres will also be established in Bulgaria and Myanmar, whilst other locations will be developed in due course.
In Myanmar Uniteam Yachting have their own marine training centre which offers state of the art training facilities for yacht crews; these include a full size bridge simulator, an ECDIS simulator, an engine room simulator, helideck training module and many other training opportunities for all departments.
From the beginning of 2010, the company will also offer agency services to superyachts visiting Myanmar and sailing yachts for charter. The sailing yachts will be based in the Mergui Archipelago in the far south of Myanmar which consists of around 800 islands forming one of the last remaining untouched paradises on earth.
Uniteam Yachting made its first official appearance with a stand at the Monaco Yacht Show.
