Leading US broker, Northrop & Johnson is the first broker to join other US megayacht companies at next year’s Abu Dhabi Yacht Show. The company joins shipyards Burger Boat Company, Palmer Johnson, Trinity Yachts and Westport Shipyard at what is destined to become, according to Group Director of Abu Dhabi Yacht Show, Franck Dailles, "The megayacht show for buyers in the Gulf region."
Other familiar megayacht brands from other parts of the world have recently signed up including superyacht shipyard, Danish Yacht and Dubai based design company, Greenline Design.
Franck continues, "Recent years have seen a rise in superyacht shows in emerging regions and I am sometimes asked by US companies whether the industry needs another show for its already busy calendar. My reply is quite simply ‘yes’. We will be targeting a very specific group of elite, wealthy buyers who are in the market for megayachts upwards of 30 metres and $15million. In our opinion these people are not yet serviced by a dedicated show and we are therefore creating an exclusive, lavish, yet professional environment for them to select and buy from the best megayacht businesses in the world. I am delighted that such prestige American businesses recognise the potential of our show and have no doubt they will benefit from exposure to such an elite audience."
