V8 Powered Wet Rod luxury watercraft to be built by Dutch Shipyard

Strand Craft has announced a new partnership with Dutch Shipyard as the exclusive manufacturer of their V8 powered Wet Rod luxury watercraft, with Mulder Design undertaking the jet ski’s naval architecture.

Measuring 4.9 metres, the V8 Wet Rod boasts a lightweight construction and powerful 370 HP 4.2 litre V8 TDI engine from Volkswagen Marine, capable of propelling the jet ski at a maximum speed of 120 km/h.

Amongst the many features on board is a champagne cooler located underneath the seat, while larger items such as luggage and diving equipment can be stored in a waterproof luggage box in the front of the vessel. In addition, she will also be completely customisable, with optional extra’s including natural wood or carbon fibre inlays, a custom paint job, a custom trailer and GPS navigation, to name but a few.

Starting at €45,000, the V8 Wet Rod is available directly from Strand Craft.
