Vicem Yachts – the noted Turkish builder of fine handcrafted, classic style motor yachts ranging in size from 15m to 35m – will be exhibiting for the first-time ever at three of Europe’s premier boating exhibitions this year: the Cannes International Boat Show, September 10 – 15 (France); the Monaco Yacht Show, September 24 – 27, Principality of Monaco; and the Barcelona International Boat Show, November 8 – 16 (Spain).
Show Highlights: 92 Cruiser Introduction & Plans for New Megayacht Unveiled
Vicem Yachts will be showcasing the first hull in its new Cruiser series of yachts – the 92 Cruiser – for its inaugural participation in these events. With the launch of this first model in the Cruiser series (which features yachts from 22m – 35m in length), Vicem offers a line of classic-style yachts with superb living accommodations and intrinsic long-range cruising capabilities. Based on the elegant style and design of Vicem’s signature Classic series of 15m – 22m motor yachts, the Cruiser series features a raised pilothouse arrangement, larger superstructure, standard flybridge and oversized guest and crew accommodations well suited to long-range excursions.
Furthermore, the company has chosen the 2008 Monaco Yacht Show as the venue to unveil the rendering and model of its first-ever 46m megayacht – Vicem’s newest yacht line – which is scheduled to launch in 2010. Vicem’s first endeavor in the megayacht arena is a highly credentialed project, featuring design plans from renowned Dutch naval architect Frank Mulder and the noted interior design firm of Art-Line Design.
