The 17th edition of the event will conclude on the 10th June. She features a high volume normally found on larger yachts, with her interior design penned by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/473" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Overmarine Group SPA (Company)">Overmarine</a>'s technical department, alongside her owner.The first hull in the Mangusta Oceano 39 yacht series boasts floor-to-ceiling windows of her main and upper decks, which can be opened to seamlessly blend her interior and exterior spaces.&nbsp;Her aft area includes foldable terraces to provide direct access with the water, as well as providing guests with total relaxation in utmost privacy. Flakes are complicated to apply because they need to be oriented all in the same direction to avoid any shadow effects,” Angèle Navarro added. “We made a risky gamble by doing a very large area of application at one time to reduce cutlines. It made for difficult, hard work. But it was successful.”’After witnessing the process, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4985" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Madame Kate62.4m (204'9&quot;)Amels2015">Madame Kate</a>’s captain described the paint process as “complex and very expensive”. He continued, “In pearlescent paint you have very fine mica – a transparent gloss that you can see through to the under layers. You have 12 coats in the total paint system, which is exceptional . If the painters make one mistake in the pearl, like a runner or dust inclusion, they'll have to redo the entire job. That's why this challenging paint system is so exclusive with this very lavish and turns heads custom finish.”Angèle Navarro confirmed how treacherous the work can be, “Painting a yacht is a handmade process based on a team of painters fully skilled and experienced to achieve a perfect application where any bad movement, air failure or inattention moment can destroy a perfect complete job. All details are taken into consideration. It’s impressive to see a yacht kept in such great condition,” Angèle Navarro said. And It was this crew that supported this paint project. “It was a team effort based on the confidence of an implicated crew, skilled workers and motivated staff to guarantee a good and beautiful result at the end that will make owner and crew happy, that was our goal on the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4985" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Madame Kate62.4m (204'9&quot;)Amels2015">Madame Kate</a> project.
