New details have emerged about the shootout on Friday 28 April at 2:28am with the 50.29-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1068" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ramage & Ferguson (Company)">Ramage &amp; Ferguson</a> yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1737" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Kalizma50.29m (164'12&quot;)Ramage & Ferguson1906">Kalizma</a>, off the coast of Yemen. In connection with closing of the acquisition on May 30, 2023, Viasat drew down on approximately $1.35 billion of its committed financing package, including a $617 million secured term loan facility and a $733 million unsecured bridge loan. These include the improvement and expansion of green refitting procedures for yachts, such as eco-friendly paint and advanced water treatment plants. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/226399/image/large-2e0a55e82cf6a21294548894f5e0b891.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/226399">The company also uses more sustainable technology and renewable energy across boats, shipyards and related facilities, with LED lighting and solar panels. Palumbo SY Refit expands commitment to sustainability in yachting

Palumbo SuperYachts has announced that they will expand the company's commitment to sustainability in yachting with more sustainable measures.

Turkey-based shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4644" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="AKYACHT (Company)">AKYACHT</a> has announced that they have signed a contract for a new 100 plus-metre superyacht.
