The Feadship steel and aluminium superyacht Savannah recently underwent seatrials in the North Sea on the 18th March. In the following video from Kees Torn, she can be seen making her way through the fog in the Hook of Holland.
Measuring 83.5 metres in length, she has a beam of 12.5 metres and a draught of 3.95 metres. She features naval architecture and exterior design by De Voogt Naval Architects, with her exteriors being completed in collaboration with CG Design. The French design studio CG Design were also responsible for her interiors.
She accommodates up to 12 guests on board as well as a crew of 22. One of her most stand out features is her ‘underwater lounge’ at port side, as well as the aft owner and main deck areas which have been designed a single, extensive inside/outside space.
She is powered by one Wärtsilä 9L20C 2,415 hp engine as well as three gensets, batteries, a propellor and pioneering electro-mechanical propulsion platform, making her one of the first eco-friendly motoryachts.
