Following a steady stream of work on board some of the world’s most luxurious vessels, Videoworks, one of the Italian leaders in system integration on board superyachts, has reported an increased focus on the large yacht sector, especially within their R&D department.
We recently spoke to the team at Videoworks, who detailed two of their most recent, notable projects: the 54 metre Atlante, and the 45 metre Genesi. They state, “In two different beautiful superyachts, Videoworks managed to create specific integrations and solutions, depending on the different needs, styles, spaces and technologies of the owner in question, all while offering an unparalleled know-how and the perfect suggestions for the best integration possible.”
Built by the CRN shipyard in 2015 and featuring exterior design from Nuvolari Lenard Architects, Videoworks realised the complete Audio/Visual, Home Automation and Entertainment systems on board Atlante. The team told us that attention to detail is always of the highest priorities in any project, and on board, all technology is cleverly hidden while having a very low architectural impact on the aesthetic of the project.
The innovative Genesi built by Wider and recently completed earlier this year saw Videoworks realise a tailor made home automation system and special lighting project, on which the layout of the yacht was based.
Concluding the summary of some of their most recent works, the team state: “Each project with Videoworks is absolutely unique. We choose only the best products, most advanced technologies and reputable suppliers on the market and study tailor made solutions. This dedication to quality and innovation ensures that our clients are left with easy and reliable management interfaces on every device, and are always satisfied.”
Though still shrouded in secrecy, Videoworks also revealed that projects currently in the pipeline include a vessel for a Dutch shipyard as well as several projects in Italy, ranging from 28 to 80 metres.
