Vilanova Grand Marina – Barcelona, has launched a new commercial campaign for yachts before charter season, especially those coming back from the Caribbean, offering them special berthing conditions. With this campaign, the marina continues on focusing its efforts in promoting its facilities and services and positioning itself as the ideal location within the Mediterranean.
Management of the marina expects to achieve 50% occupancy in April, one year after its opening. Ignacio Erroz, General Manager, said: “we are making big efforts in promoting the marina amongst captains and yacht owners and are very happy with the acceptance it has had so far. Our main goal for this first operational year is to show the marina to the market, so 50% occupancy is a great success.” As part of its promotional strategy, Vilanova Grand Marina – Barcelona will be attending the Antibes Yacht Show from 8th until 11th April (stand C-612) to provide visitors with information on its facilities and services, especially conceived for superyachts.
As a novelty, the marina has recently installed the latest and most complete communications package within the superyacht market. This package includes satellite television, wireless and ADSL Internet, private telephone line and digitally-activated service bollards to control consumption.
