With the 32nd edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show to kick off today in the States, here we take a look at the 51m superyacht Aldabra on display for the duration of the show with Edmiston.
Aldabra
Built by the Italian shipyard Codecasa in 2011 and excellently maintained throughout her lifetime, the 51-metre superyacht Aldabra features an interior design from the drawing boards of Della Role Design whilst the yard’s in-house team undertook both her exterior design and naval architecture.
Based on the Codecasa 51 series, the modern styled Aldabra can sleep 12 guests on board over six generous cabins, including a full beam master suite, a large VIP suite, two twin cabins and two double cabins. A crew of 11 is also accommodated for on board. Aldabra’s well-appointed deck space features several lounging areas, a wet bar, large al fresco dining area and Jacuzzi.
Performance wise, she is powered by twin 2,447hp Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines which enable her to achieve a top speed of 15 knots and cruising speed of 16 knots. Classed by Lloyd's register, she is MCA compliant.
